Measure would require state to regulate greenhouse gas emissions A group of nearly 500 Maryland businesses today endorsed a bill supported by Gov. Martin O’Malley that would set the state on a path to reducing global warming pollution by 25 percent by 2020, saying the legislation will help stimulate investment and create jobs in energy-efficient, sustainable industries.
