The Great Lakes are likely to face serious threats from global warming and Congress needs to pay for restoring the lakes now so they’ll have a better chance of being resilient once temperatures rise and lake levels drop as predicted. Warming over the next century could lower lakes and expose toxic sediment that has been buried, reduce wetlands that help filter pollution and cause heavy rains ...
